Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated BTech/MCA graduate to join our Security & Privacy Management team. This is an entry-level opportunity for candidates interested in building a career in Information Security, Privacy, Risk and Compliance.
The ideal candidate may not have prior professional experience in Security or Privacy but should demonstrate strong analytical and reasoning skills, good IT fundamentals, curiosity, attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day Security & Privacy management activities.
- Assist with security, privacy, risk and compliance assessments.
- Analyse data and identify trends, anomalies and potential risks.
- Support preparation of reports, dashboards, trackers and management presentations.
- Assist with evidence collection, documentation and follow-up of security/privacy actions.
- Support security awareness, policy and compliance activities.
- Assist in developing and maintaining simple automation and reporting solutions.
- Coordinate with IT and business teams to gather information and support remediation activities.
- Learn and support processes related to information security, data protection, access management, DLP and risk management.
Skills Required:
- Good understanding of IT fundamentals including operating systems, networking, databases, applications and cloud concepts.
- Strong logical, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Ability and willingness to learn Security, Privacy, Risk and Compliance concepts.
- Python: Basic scripting, data manipulation or automation.
- SQL: Basic database concepts, queries, filtering and data analysis.
- Power BI: Creating basic dashboards, reports and data visualisations.
- Power Automate: Creating basic workflows and process automation.
- SharePoint: Understanding of SharePoint Lists, document libraries and basic data management.
- Exposure to Microsoft 365 / Power Platform is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts such as authentication, authorisation, encryption, firewalls, vulnerabilities and phishing.
- Basic awareness of privacy concepts such as personal data, data minimisation, retention and data protection.
- Exposure to ISO 27001, GDPR or other security/privacy frameworks is an advantage.
